Announcing the 2026 Cohort!

I am thrilled to announce the 2026 cohort for Ticket to Ride! After only minimal outreach, we have secured 10 participants plus two mentors. The cohort is made up of such an interesting group of people ranging in experience levels in bicycle commuting, including someone who hasn’t been on a bike in 20 years! I love it!

The cohort includes a librarian who wants to commute from Calais to Montpelier, someone from Greensboro who wants to get fit again, State of Vermont employees (one who wants to try bike to bus from St J to Montpelier), two people from Montpelier who already commute but look forward to the camaraderie, doctor, a nurse, and someone who hails from London and works for the DMV.

Just when I was about to wonder if I would even get a few people, I decided to check our interest form and was pleasantly surprised to find 15 people had completed it! Since then, I’ve been busy confirming people’s commitment, hosting info sessions, and researching bikes to buy.
